Towns - 17th May 2012

Thanks for the great response to my print competition. There was an amazing list of towns which I will continue to add to, with some comments over coming days. Here are just a few

Dudley, Dent, Camber, Falmouth, Canvey Island, Durham, Barry, Port Sunlight, Lymington, Rochester, London, Inverness, Jaywick, Brighton, Arbroath, Cambridge, Bath, York, Bristol, Leeds (Kent), Bradford-Upon-Avon, Leek, Sabden

John Henstock - "Hebdon Bridge, Halifax and York all run close seconds to the lovely Caaaaaardiff."

"Edinburgh. It's such a postive place," - Fruit of Boredom

Liam Collins - "Wapping, A shithole to many, but a magical place to me"

Duckrabbit - "Bristol my lover.."

"Southwold at sunrise" - Andy Fell

Kathryn Lewis "Wallington. It's a real non-place now but used to be lavender fields"

"Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch" - James O Jenkins

Iain Sarjeant "Inverness. Fascinating mix of visitors and folk from around the Highlands"

"Canvey Island for the mix of old and new - people and buildings" Dave Frost

Joanne Underhill - "Cambridge. It has history, culture and lots and lots of tourists!"

"Portsmouth. Students, sailors, locals. My uni town" Andy Matthews

Matthias v. Aufschnailter "Milton Keynes - Love the brutalism, modernism and the concept of the "new town" can be a tough one"

"Bromsgrove, the home of my ancestors. The town where the Juggins's were one of the nine founder families and where Buckingham Palace's gates and the Liverbirds were made" Neil Juggins

"BEER" Peter Dench

Guinevere Glasfurd-Brown "Dent, if only for the journey there via Deepdale from Thornton-in-Lonsdale...abandoned barns, tumble-down walls." Stunning"

"Gloriously named, but seldom sunny, Mount Florida, in Glasgow SouthSide" - Jeremy Sutton-Hibbert

Philipe Sibelly "Epsom. Got everything: country side below, London above & halfway between LHR & LGW!"
